Office of Youth and Family Advocacy (OYFA)

This office, created in 2017, serves as a firsthand resource working directly with youth and their families to foster communication and amplify their voice in the juvenile justice system.

Through the Office of Youth and Family Advocacy, youth and families will have an additional avenue to raise concerns and engage with the Department to ensure their needs are addressed.

If you or your family are in need of resources in your area, please contact the OYFA Resource Helpline at 1-866-757-0634

If you are calling to report a complaint or incident within a DJJ facility or program, please contact DJJ’s Central Communications Center Incident Hotline at 1-800-355-2280. If you are calling to report known or suspected child abuse or neglect, please contact the Florida Abuse Hotline at 1-800-962-2873.

Has your child recently placed on juvenile probation? Navigating through the juvenile justice system can be overwhelming and confusing.  You may be feeling unsure, nervous, scared or even angry about what the future may hold. Please know that you are not alone.
